Markit Alliance Partners extend the range of Markit’s products/services with complementary solutions that add value for our mutual customers. The Markit Alliance Program features three membership categories:

Strategic Partners The world's leading data vendors, ratings agencies, fund administrators, and inter-dealer brokers willing to invest in, develop, launch and support joint customer businesses with customised product initiatives.

Example: Moody's Analytics launching a market implied ratings service to the marketplace.
Solution Providers Solution Providers are best of breed service providers who offer solutions that are complementary to the Markit range of products. Solution Providers can license Markit's services to non-Markit customers and introduce new derivations of Markit’s products, creating shared commercial value in the marketplace.

Example: Riskmetrics launching VAR services to the marketplace.
Technology Partners Technology Providers are industry leaders in trading/order management systems provision, risk management services, ASP services, and enterprise data management services. Technology Providers extend the ‘use value’ of Markit’s products by offering a straight pass through to support customer’s preference for Markit.
