Associate, Network Engineer
Position Summary
Provide Tier 1 network operations support and after-hours on-call support. Keep hardware inventory, documentation and network monitoring software up to date. Install, configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches and firewalls. Help senior network staff on various projects. Candidate should be able to demonstrate his skills in solving network-related issues with RIP, OSPF, EIGRP and LAN/WAN connectivity
Duties & Accountabilities
Candidate should be familiar with Cisco LAN switches, routers and PIX/ASA firewalls hardware and be familiar with basic RIP/EIGRP/OSPF routing protocols setup, operation and route redistribution, IPSec VPN-s. Candidate should be able to demonstrate his abilities to solve network-related issues with RIP, OSPF, EIGRP and LAN connectivity.

- Knowledge of BGP
- VoIP: Cisco IPhones, Call Manager
- F5/Foundry/Cisco CSS load balancers
- MPLS
Business Competencies
Education and experience
- Previous experience of networking and wide area networking experience in a Cisco environment
- CCNA/CCNP certification is plus

- Ability to understand business objectives and focus
